Lead Architect – Luxury Waterfront Development

About the role

Construct by MW is looking for a highly experienced Lead Architect to drive the design and delivery of a landmark tourism development at Dharabi Lake, Chakwal. The role involves overseeing the creation of luxury waterfront villas, hospitality facilities, recreational zones, landscape works and a world‑class water park.

Key responsibilities

• Lead architectural planning, design development and production of construction documentation.
• Develop master plans, concept designs, detailed drawings and presentation materials.
• Coordinate with structural, MEP, infrastructure, landscape and water‑park consultants.
• Review and approve architectural, shop and material drawings.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with approved designs and specifications.
• Manage project timelines, design deliverables and consultant coordination.
• Ensure adherence to local building regulations, safety standards and international best practices.
• Provide value‑engineering recommendations and design optimisation.
• Lead client presentations and stakeholder meetings.
• Oversee quality assurance and quality control throughout execution.
• Mentor junior architects and design team members.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (Master’s preferred).
• Registered Architect (PCATP) is an advantage.
• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in architectural design and construction supervision.
• Proven experience in large‑scale hospitality, resort, residential, mixed‑use, tourism or waterfront projects.
• Experience in master planning and high‑end villa developments preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to manage projects from concept through construction completion.

Required skills

• Expert proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
• Strong command of SketchUp, Lumion, Adobe Creative Suite and MS Project.
• Thorough understanding of construction detailing, building systems and project coordination.
• Ability to prepare and review BOQs, specifications and construction documentation.
• Strong knowledge of local building codes and approval procedures.
