Learning Manager (AVP/VP) – Banking Training Lead

About the role

The National Bank of Pakistan is seeking an experienced Learning Manager (AVP/VP) to lead the design, delivery, and evaluation of training programs for its staff in Multan. Reporting to the Director of the Staff College, you will shape learning initiatives that support compliance, branch operations, and soft‑skill development across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop need‑based training curricula for various employee cadres.
• Deliver classroom sessions, group discussions, case studies, and assessments.
• Conduct quizzes, tests, and evaluate trainee performance.
• Research and create long‑duration courses for newly hired and promoted staff.
• Organise seminars, workshops, and training‑needs assessments.
• Prepare summary reports on trainee feedback and program effectiveness.
• Implement innovative training delivery and retention methodologies.
• Perform any additional assignments as directed by supervisors.

Required profile

• Minimum graduation; Master’s degree or professional certifications preferred.
• At least 8 years of relevant experience, with 3+ years as an in‑house or corporate trainer in banking or financial services.
• Strong knowledge of learning theories and adult education principles.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English, Urdu, and local languages.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office suite.
• Experience using online video‑conferencing tools such as Zoom, Google Meet, and Microsoft Teams.
