LMS Expert – Moodle Architecture & AI Integration

About the role

Aqovia is seeking a seasoned LMS Expert to lead the design, configuration, and large‑scale deployment of a Moodle‑based Learning Management System for Pakistan’s public‑sector schools. The role sits at the intersection of software engineering, data science, and public‑sector collaboration, ensuring the platform aligns with the national curriculum while embedding AI‑driven learning features.

Key responsibilities

• Design and configure multi‑tenant Moodle environments that reflect the Single National Curriculum and support provincial districts.
• Direct the integration of right‑to‑left language packs for Urdu and regional dialects.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to embed AI modules (adaptive learning paths, automated grading) using LTI, SCORM, and xAPI standards.
• Optimize database queries, server‑side caching, and configure Progressive Web Apps for offline access in low‑bandwidth areas.
• Ensure compliance with government data‑privacy mandates and develop custom reporting engines for education officials.

Required profile

• 5+ years of enterprise Moodle deployments, preferably Moodle Workplace or large‑scale multi‑tenant implementations.
• Expert knowledge of PHP, Laravel, and relational databases with strong debugging and code‑review skills.
• Proven experience implementing LTI, SCORM, and xAPI protocols.
• Track record of managing high‑traffic platforms for government, higher education, or EdTech sectors.
• Fluent in English and Urdu, able to bridge technical teams and government stakeholders.
