Logistics Officer – Supply Chain Management

About the role

The Logistics Officer will ensure smooth and efficient management of all logistics and supply‑chain activities for LT Engineering & Trade Services. The role focuses on inventory control, shipment tracking, procurement coordination and compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory records using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory tracking tools.
• Coordinate procurement, material handling and shipment tracking to achieve timely order fulfillment.
• Oversee warehouse operations, enforcing safety standards and company procedures.
• Conduct internal audits to verify ISO 9001 compliance and support continuous improvement.
• Utilise ERP and Transportation Management Systems (TMS) to optimise logistics planning and execution.
• Prepare and manage freight and shipping documentation, ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to resolve procurement issues promptly.
• Maintain detailed logistics records through effective document control and data entry.

Required profile

• Degree in BBA, MBA or MS in Supply Chain Management.
• Strong understanding of supply‑chain principles, vendor coordination and internal auditing.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with multiple departments.
