Manual Tester – macOS Desktop Applications

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Manual Tester to validate productivity desktop applications built on .NET for macOS. You will collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to ensure the AI‑driven desktop product runs flawlessly on both Intel and Apple Silicon Macs.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute manual test cases for macOS desktop apps, covering UI, installer flows, and performance differences.
• Derive new test scenarios from specifications, UI walkthroughs, or exploratory testing.
• Document test steps, expected results, and pass/fail outcomes in structured CSV or spreadsheet formats.
• Refine AI‑generated test plans by removing redundancies, adding edge cases, and clarifying expectations.
• Report bugs with detailed reproduction steps, severity, screenshots, and log captures using GitLab.
• Validate installer packages (.app.dmg) and macOS‑specific features such as .app bundles, Info.plist, and native title‑bar behavior.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of manual testing experience on desktop applications.
• Hands‑on experience with macOS, including both Intel and Apple Silicon hardware.
• Strong written English and proficiency with Microsoft Teams and GitLab for collaboration.
• Familiarity with MS365/Outlook integration.
