Mechanical Engineering Specialist (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineering Specialist to join a global engineering services leader on a contract basis. The position is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere while designing and optimizing mechanical systems for production environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies using CAD software such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD.
• Perform finite element analysis (FEA) and computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulations to validate designs.
• Create detailed engineering drawings and specifications for manufacturing.
• Conduct tolerance analysis and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Troubleshoot existing mechanical systems and recommend improvements.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing mechanical components for production settings.
• Ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams and communicate technical information clearly.
• Experience preparing engineering drawings, specifications, and tolerance analyses.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
