About the role
CodeCure AI is seeking a detail‑oriented Medical Billing & Healthcare Virtual Assistant to support front‑desk operations for U.S. healthcare providers. The role involves handling insurance verification, patient communication, appointment scheduling, and various administrative tasks while ensuring compliance with HIPAA standards.
Key responsibilities
- Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits across PPO, Commercial, Medicaid, and Medicare plans.
- Schedule appointments and follow up with patients.
- Handle patient billing inquiries and resolve issues.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Support providers with administrative and billing‑related tasks.
- Ensure all activities comply with HIPAA regulations.
Required profile
- 1–2 years of experience as a Healthcare Virtual Assistant.
- Strong knowledge of PPO, Commercial, Medicaid & Medicare insurance.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Experience with Therapy Notes is a plus.
