Member of Technical Staff - Legal Research (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a Member of Technical Staff specializing in legal research to join a global software development leader. The position is fully remote and focuses on analysing complex legal and regulatory frameworks, translating them into technical solutions that support product development and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Research, interpret and summarise statutes, regulations and case law to guide product decisions.
• Design and build technical frameworks or tools that automate aspects of legal research.
• Work closely with product, engineering and compliance teams to embed legal insights into product design.
• Monitor emerging legal trends and assess their impact on technology solutions.
• Produce clear technical documentation and guidelines for legal compliance in product development.

Required profile

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree or equivalent legal education.
• Proven experience with legal research methodologies and regulatory analysis.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to convert legal concepts into actionable technical requirements.
