Oracle EBS Consultant – Full‑time on‑site role

About the role

This is a full‑time, on‑site Oracle EBS Consultant position based in the Lahore District, supporting Procon Engineering’s manufacturing operations.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and analyse business requirements through workshops and map them to standard Oracle EBS R12 functionality.
• Perform gap analysis and propose solutions using standard features, configuration or customisations (RICEW: Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, Workflows).
• Configure and set up modules such as GL, AP, AR, CM, PO, INV, OM, BOM and WIP according to the agreed design.
• Prepare functional documentation, including setup documents, functional design, test scripts and user training manuals.
• Work with the technical team on custom forms, reports, interfaces, conversions and workflows, clarifying requirements during development.
• Plan and run UAT cycles, prepare test scenarios and manage defect resolution through to sign‑off.
• Support data migration by defining conversion templates, validating loaded data and reconciling balances.
• Configure the multi‑org structure, including ledgers, legal entities, operating units and inventory organisations, as well as responsibilities, profile options and approval hierarchies.
• Deliver end‑user training and provide go‑live support.
• Resolve production issues and service requests within agreed SLAs and raise service requests with Oracle Support when required.
• Assist with period‑end close activities and analyse sub‑ledger accounting and reconciliation issues.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and system utilisation.
