Paid Game Designer Intern

About the role

We are looking for a motivated 2D Game Designer intern to join AIRIDEV’s AI Game Development team. This paid, fully‑remote internship offers hands‑on experience creating game assets, environments and characters while collaborating with a diverse group of developers and designers.

Key responsibilities

• Design and produce 2D game elements, including sprites, backgrounds, UI components and character art.
• Work closely with senior designers and programmers to integrate assets into ongoing projects.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas to improve gameplay.
• Maintain asset consistency and adhere to project style guides.
• Provide feedback and iterate on designs based on team reviews.

Required profile

• Proficiency with 2D modeling software such as Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.
• Strong understanding of fundamental game design principles and techniques.
• Creative mindset with the ability to conceptualize engaging visual assets.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Currently pursuing or recently graduated from a degree in Game Design, Computer Graphics, or a related field.
