Principal Software Engineer

Eon is a market leader in patient management and AI‑driven healthcare solutions. As a Principal Software Engineer you will provide strategic technical leadership, design scalable architectures, and ensure the highest standards of code quality across our platform.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and debug complex software components.
• Improve performance and reliability of existing systems.
• Mentor and train engineering team members.
• Maintain, upgrade, and refactor legacy codebases.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies to boost productivity.
• Supervise technical aspects of projects and ensure delivery.
• Investigate software issues and implement corrective actions.
• Participate in team meetings, brainstorm solutions, and align on product goals.

Required profile

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or a related field.
• Hands‑on experience with Node.js and Angular.
• Strong background in software development, scripting, and project management.
• Experience with system monitoring tools (e.g., New Relic) and automated testing frameworks.
• In‑depth knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB).
• Excellent analytical, communication, organizational, and leadership abilities.
