Product Security Engineer (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a Product Security Engineer to join a global leader in software development and IT consulting. The role is fully remote and focuses on designing and implementing security controls for a cloud‑native platform, ensuring security is embedded throughout the product lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain security requirements for product features and infrastructure.
• Conduct threat modeling and risk assessments for new and existing functionalities.
• Implement secure coding practices and security testing methodologies.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to design and deploy secure cloud architectures.
• Monitor vulnerabilities and coordinate remediation across teams.

Required profile

• Proven experience with secure software development lifecycle (SDLC) practices.
• Strong background in threat modeling and risk assessment.
• Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Familiarity with security testing tools (SAST, DAST, penetration testing).
• Experience securing containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes) and managing IAM/zero‑trust architectures.
