QA Testing Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a QA Testing Engineer with solid experience in software quality assurance. You will ensure the reliability, functionality, and performance of our applications through comprehensive functional, integration, regression, end‑to‑end, and automated testing.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute test cases, scenarios, and plans.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, and end‑to‑end testing.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks.
• Identify, document, track, and verify software defects.
• Execute API and application testing to validate system functionality.
• Collaborate with developers, product teams, and stakeholders to resolve defects.
• Run regression tests after new features, fixes, and releases.
• Establish quality gates and ensure software meets defined standards before release.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and monitor test results.
• Provide clear QA status and release‑readiness reports.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in Software Quality Assurance or Testing.
• Strong hands‑on experience with functional, integration, regression, and end‑to‑end testing.
• Experience in test automation and working with automation frameworks.
• Good understanding of API testing and software testing methodologies.
• Familiarity with defect tracking and test management tools.
• Knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and QA processes.
• Experience with quality gates, release criteria, CI/CD, and version control (Git).
• Ability to work effectively onsite in Karachi.
