Project Manager – Shopify E‑commerce (Design & Development)

About the role

We are seeking an expert‑level Project Manager to own Shopify e‑commerce design and development projects from discovery through launch. This senior position requires deep knowledge of UI/UX, conversion optimisation and Shopify Liquid, as well as strong client‑facing skills.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end Shopify projects, defining scope, milestones, timelines and deliverables.
• Ensure on‑time, on‑budget delivery while maintaining high quality and mitigating risks.
• Review UI/UX designs for usability, conversion impact and development feasibility.
• Oversee Shopify Liquid development, theme customisation and custom feature implementation.
• Validate integrations such as payments, shipping, analytics and third‑party tools.
• Act as primary client contact, providing clear updates and managing expectations.
• Coordinate designers, developers, QA, sales and stakeholders through sprint planning, stand‑ups and progress reviews.
• Own QA, user‑acceptance testing, launch readiness and post‑launch support.

Required profile

• 5+ years managing Shopify e‑commerce design and development projects.
• Proven ability to manage client relationships directly and confidently.
• Excellent spoken and written English.
• Strong organisational, decision‑making and leadership capabilities.

Required skills

• Shopify Liquid development and theme architecture.
• UI/UX design principles and conversion rate optimisation (CRO).
• E‑commerce user‑behaviour knowledge.
• Agile project management (sprint planning, stand‑ups, delivery checkpoints).
• Integration of payment, shipping, analytics and third‑party tools.
