Public Relations Manager (Islamabad)

About the role

The Public Relations Manager will shape and protect the reputation of Pak Turk Maarif International Schools & Colleges. Reporting to senior leadership, the role combines strategic planning with hands‑on execution across media, digital and event channels.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive public relations strategies that support the institution’s objectives and enhance its brand image.
• Lead, manage, and mentor a team of six PR professionals to ensure high‑quality communication outputs.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with media outlets, journalists, stakeholders and external partners.
• Prepare, edit and distribute press releases, official statements, social‑media content, promotional materials and newsletters.
• Plan and coordinate media events, press conferences and other promotional activities.
• Manage crisis communication efforts, responding swiftly to sensitive situations.
• Monitor and analyse media coverage and public sentiment, providing insights to senior management.
• Stay up‑to‑date with trends in social media, digital communication and PR tools.
• Collaborate with marketing, admissions and administration to ensure unified communication.

Required profile

• Minimum six years of experience in public relations, communications, marketing or journalism.
• Proven ability to lead a team and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Creative mindset with strong analytical abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in creating press releases, official statements and social‑media content.
• Experience in media relations, event coordination and crisis communication.
• Familiarity with digital communication trends and PR tools.
