Quality Assurance Manager (Software)

About the role

Soft House is seeking a detail‑oriented Quality Assurance Manager to lead QA efforts for its software products. The role focuses on ensuring the highest standards of quality, functionality, and reliability without direct team management responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and optimize quality assurance processes to improve product quality at Soft House.
• Create detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on product requirements and specifications.
• Execute manual and automated testing procedures to identify software defects and inconsistencies.
• Collaborate with software developers and product teams to understand functionality and performance requirements.
• Manage defect tracking by accurately documenting, reporting, and monitoring bug findings to ensure timely resolution.
• Analyze and report on quality metrics, including defect rates and test coverage, to support decision‑making.
• Continuously review and refine testing methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Coordinate cross‑functional efforts to integrate quality assurance into the software development lifecycle.
• Assist in risk assessment and provide recommendations for mitigating quality issues.
• Stay current with industry trends, emerging tools, and best practices in quality assurance and software testing.

Required profile

• At least three years of practical experience in quality assurance processes.
• Detail‑oriented with strong ability to identify defects and streamline testing workflows.
• Experience working closely with development teams to implement testing strategies.
• Ability to work effectively without direct team management responsibilities.
