About the role

The Recovery Officer plays a crucial part in safeguarding the financial health of the organization by ensuring overdue loan installments are collected promptly. This role involves direct interaction with delinquent borrowers, field visits, and close coordination with branch teams to achieve recovery targets.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct field visits to recover overdue loan installments.
• Follow up with delinquent customers to secure timely repayments.
• Maintain and reduce Portfolio at Risk (PAR) according to set targets.
• Prepare accurate recovery records and daily visit reports.
• Coordinate recovery planning and case updates with branch offices.
• Identify high‑risk accounts and escalate critical cases to management.
• Ensure compliance with recovery policies and ethical collection practices.
• Support legal follow‑up processes when required.
• Achieve assigned monthly recovery targets.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 1–3 years of experience in recovery, collections, or micro‑finance operations.
• Experience in the banking or micro‑finance sector is preferred.
