Remote Biologist for AI Evaluation

About the role

We are seeking a Biology expert to work remotely on a full‑time basis, designing and solving challenging biology problems that probe the limits of large language models. You will collaborate closely with LLM researchers to create high‑quality evaluation data and help shape future AI benchmarks.

Key responsibilities

• Design and solve complex biology problems to assess large language model limitations.
• Develop step‑by‑step solutions with rigorous reasoning and clear explanations.
• Collaborate with LLM researchers to align problem types with evaluation goals.
• Contribute to new evaluation benchmarks covering topics from early undergraduate to PhD‑level biology.
• Break down intricate biological concepts into simple, understandable explanations while maintaining efficiency.

Required profile

• PhD or Master’s degree in Biology or a closely related field.
• Strong analytical and research skills in biology.
• Ability to provide constructive feedback and detailed annotations.
• Creative and lateral thinking to solve challenging problems.
• Excellent structured communication and collaboration skills in a remote setting.
