Senior Solution Architect – Mobile Financial Services

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Solution Architect to lead the design and deployment of Ericsson’s Wallet Platform (EWP) within our Mobile Financial Services (MFS) team. You will translate business requirements into robust technical solutions, integrate multiple third‑party systems and ensure high‑performance, high‑volume transaction processing.

Key responsibilities

• Own the architecture, high‑level and low‑level design for mobile wallet deployments and integrations.
• Deliver the EWP and associated nodes according to scope, ensuring successful implementation.
• Engage daily with customers to capture evolving requirements and produce solution designs.
• Integrate the platform with USSD, SMSC, service delivery platforms, banks and other third‑party systems.
• Write and execute acceptance tests and obtain customer sign‑off.
• Provide architectural leadership in technology strategy discussions with clients.
• Contribute to business case modelling, proposal preparation and mentorship of delivery teams.
• Propose enhancements to expand Ericsson’s MFS services and market reach.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Master’s preferred) with 10‑15 years of fintech solution‑architecture experience.
• Proven track record of delivering complex deployments in public‑cloud environments.
• Experience engaging with C‑level stakeholders and influencing technology decisions.
• Strong leadership, communication and presentation abilities.
