Remote DevOps Engineer – CI/CD & Cloud Infrastructure (Contract)

About the role

We are seeking a Remote DevOps Engineer (Infrastructure) on a contract basis to design, build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure for a global technology leader. The role focuses on automating software delivery, ensuring high availability, and optimizing cost across AWS, Azure or GCP environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design, configure, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management with Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, Puppet or Chef.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot incidents, and implement improvements for reliability.
• Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to embed DevOps best practices.
• Support cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) ensuring scalability, cost‑optimization and security compliance.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing and operating CI/CD pipelines in a cloud environment.
• Strong background in infrastructure‑as‑code and automation scripting.
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with cross‑functional teams.
