Remote DevOps Engineer (Infrastructure) – Contract

About the role

We are seeking a Remote DevOps Engineer (Infrastructure) on a contract basis to design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure for a global technology leader. The role involves close collaboration with development, security and operations teams to improve delivery speed and system reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Design, configure and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI or GitHub Actions.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management with Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, Puppet or Chef.
• Develop and maintain scripts in Python, Bash or PowerShell for automation tasks.
• Implement containerization and orchestration solutions using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Monitor system performance with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability.
• Support and optimize cloud environments on AWS, Azure or GCP, focusing on scalability and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to apply DevOps best practices and enhance deployment workflows.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing and automating CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong background in infrastructure as code and cloud platforms.
• Solid scripting abilities in Python, Bash or PowerShell.
• Familiarity with container technologies and orchestration.
• Experience with monitoring, logging and security best practices in cloud environments.
