Remote Electrical Engineer – Contract

About the role

We are seeking a contract Electrical Engineer to work remotely on high‑impact projects across energy, automation and consumer electronics. You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of electrical system design, from concept through validation and deployment, ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Design and simulate analog and digital circuits, power distribution and control systems using industry‑standard tools.
• Create and review electrical schematics, PCB layouts and wiring diagrams in line with safety regulations.
• Conduct failure mode analysis, root‑cause investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with mechanical, software and systems engineers to integrate electrical components into complete product solutions.
• Validate designs through prototyping, testing and documentation, meeting relevant certifications and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum three years of hands‑on experience designing and troubleshooting circuits and embedded systems.
• Proven ability to work in Agile or structured engineering environments.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to meet tight deadlines.

Required skills

• CAD tools for schematic capture and PCB layout (Altium, KiCad or similar).
• Simulation tools such as SPICE, MATLAB or Simulink.
• Version control systems (Git).
• Familiarity with IEC, UL and IPC standards.
