SAP ABAP Developer (Contract) – Lead & Mentor Team

About the role

PARCO is looking for an experienced SAP ABAP Developer on a contractual basis to lead the design, development, and delivery of SAP solutions across S/4HANA landscapes. The role combines hands‑on technical work with leadership of a small ABAP team, ensuring high‑quality, performance‑optimized code.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of ABAP developers, enforcing SAP development standards.
• Design, develop, and optimize cloud‑native applications using SAP BTP CAP (Node.js/Java) and ABAP RAP (managed & unmanaged).
• Create and enhance SAP Fiori/UI5 applications and corresponding OData services.
• Develop and tune CDS Views, AMDP procedures, and SQL for performance.
• Implement enhancements, BADIs, User Exits, BAPIs, RFCs, IDocs, and Adobe Forms.
• Conduct code reviews, technical design reviews, and ensure robust testing and transport management.
• Collaborate with functional consultants and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
• Support S/4HANA implementations, migrations, upgrades, and digital transformation initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related field.
• 6+ years of SAP ABAP experience with proven leadership responsibilities.
• Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
