Senior Accounting & Finance Consultant (Controller Level)

About the role

PROVE Partners is seeking a seasoned Senior Accounting and Finance Consultant to lead accounting operations, financial reporting, treasury, and internal controls in a fast‑moving, globally distributed environment. This remote, controller‑level position will work closely with finance and operational teams to ensure accurate financial close and cash management.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations.
• Maintain the general ledger and ensure proper classification of all transactions.
• Oversee accounting functions for accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, commissions, and fixed assets.
• Execute cash reporting, budgeting support, and treasury activities.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders to align financial data with operational needs.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in senior accounting or controller roles within healthcare finance, specialty finance, professional services, or receivables management.
• Proven ability to work independently in fast‑paced organizations with evolving processes.
• Strong accountability and comfort with cross‑functional collaboration.
