Senior Backend Engineer - Node.js & AWS (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services for a high‑traffic platform. The role is fully remote and involves collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver low‑latency, cloud‑native solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy Node.js‑based microservices using AWS services.
• Optimize backend systems for performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Implement RESTful and GraphQL APIs with a focus on security and efficiency.
• Lead architectural decisions for cloud infrastructure, including EC2, Lambda, and RDS.
• Monitor system health, debug issues, and implement automated testing and CI/CD pipelines.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience with Node.js backend development.
• Strong proficiency in AWS services such as EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, and CloudFormation.
• Ability to work independently in a remote, distributed team environment.
