Senior Procurement & Vendor Relations Manager

About the role

Trio Café is seeking a senior professional to overhaul its procurement function. The role demands a commercially aggressive mindset to secure longer supplier credit, direct manufacturer access, and cost‑effective sourcing while maintaining product quality.

Key responsibilities

• Source all café inputs including ingredients, packaging, beverages, dairy, meat, bakery supplies, cleaning products and equipment.
• Negotiate 20‑25‑day credit terms and the lowest sustainable market prices with vendors and manufacturers.
• Establish direct purchasing agreements with factories, farms, importers and manufacturers, removing unnecessary middlemen.
• Build and maintain a verified supplier database with at least two to three approved vendors for each critical category.
• Monitor supplier quality, reliability, delivery performance and enforce replacement policies.
• Coordinate purchasing needs with operations, kitchen, finance and inventory teams to avoid over‑stocking, wastage and stock‑outs.
• Validate purchase orders, invoices, quantities and agreed pricing.
• Visit wholesale markets, factories and warehouses as required.

Required profile

• Proven procurement experience in cafés, restaurants, hotels, FMCG, food manufacturing or hospitality.
• Established network of suppliers, manufacturers, distributors and importers in Lahore.
• Demonstrated success securing supplier credit and favourable commercial terms.
• Strong negotiation and relationship‑management abilities.
• Deep understanding of inventory, costing, quality control and vendor evaluation.
• High integrity, accountability and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and resolve supply issues promptly.
