Senior System Engineer – Cloud & Edge Infrastructure

About the role

We are looking for a Senior System Engineer to design, build and maintain high‑performance Linux‑based infrastructure for cloud and edge services. The role combines solution‑architecture thinking with hands‑on implementation of networking, reverse‑proxy and CDN technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy and optimise Linux servers and NGINX/OpenResty based platforms.
• Develop and maintain C/C++ networking services for edge computing and distributed systems.
• Architect scalable reverse‑proxy, caching and load‑balancing solutions.
• Analyse and optimise TCP/UDP traffic, HTTP/2, HTTP/3 and related network performance.
• Implement security controls including WAF, SSL/TLS, DNS filtering and firewall rules.
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure, networking and performance issues.
• Collaborate with backend and infrastructure teams on system architecture and technical strategy.
• Improve observability, monitoring and reliability of services.

Required profile

• Strong background in Linux system engineering and administration.
• Deep understanding of TCP/IP, UDP, DNS, SSL/TLS and modern HTTP protocols.
• Experience building or maintaining C/C++ networking services.
• Hands‑on experience with edge computing, distributed systems and cloud platforms.
• Proven ability to design high‑concurrency, high‑performance systems.
• Solid troubleshooting and debugging skills at system and network levels.
