SEO & WordPress Developer

About the role

We are seeking a results‑driven SEO & WordPress Developer to lead our search‑engine optimisation initiatives while building and maintaining high‑performance WordPress sites. The role combines technical SEO expertise with hands‑on WordPress development to improve user experience, Core Web Vitals and overall business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis and implement on‑page SEO best practices (meta tags, schema markup, internal linking, content optimisation).
• Perform technical SEO audits, resolve indexing, crawlability and site‑performance issues, and monitor rankings, traffic and conversion metrics.
• Plan and execute off‑page SEO campaigns, including backlink building and outreach.
• Develop, customise and maintain WordPress websites, configure themes and plugins, and create responsive, mobile‑friendly layouts.
• Troubleshoot bugs, security issues and performance problems; manage backups, updates and regular maintenance.
• Improve Core Web Vitals and PageSpeed scores, implement structured data, optimise site architecture and handle migrations, redirects and canonicalisation.
• Track performance using Google Analytics and Search Console and produce monthly SEO reports with actionable insights.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of combined SEO and WordPress development experience.
• Strong understanding of technical, on‑page and off‑page SEO.
• Hands‑on experience with WordPress theme and plugin development.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript and basic PHP.
• Familiarity with Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
• Deep knowledge of Core Web Vitals, page‑speed optimisation and structured data.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.

What we offer

• Competitive salary PKR 60,000 – 70,000 per month.
• Full‑time permanent position, onsite in Gulberg, Lahore.
• Monday‑Saturday schedule, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM.
