Shopify Front End Developer

About the role

We are looking for a talented Shopify Front‑End Developer to build and maintain the client side of our e‑commerce platform. The role focuses on creating high‑performance, scalable Shopify themes and ensuring a seamless user experience.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and customize Shopify themes using Liquid, DOM manipulation, asynchronous JavaScript, complex CSS, and meta fields.
• Ensure technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and optimise them for speed and scalability.
• Build reusable code and libraries for future projects.
• Collaborate with the development team to meet project timelines.
• Stay up‑to‑date with emerging trends and technologies and apply them to development.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Familiarity with Git and GitHub.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of Shopify, including Liquid syntax, Shopify objects, customizer, meta fields and admin panel.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, including asynchronous programming and libraries such as jQuery and Vue.js.
• Experience with DOM manipulation and advanced CSS selectors.
• Knowledge of GraphQL and React.js.
• Understanding of responsive design and media queries.
