Software Architect

About the role

We are seeking a Software Architect to define and drive the architectural vision of vFairs' all‑in‑one event management platform. You will design scalable, secure, and high‑performance systems that enable conferences, trade shows, and corporate events across in‑person, hybrid, and virtual formats.

Key responsibilities

• Define, design, and communicate end‑to‑end architectures for complex software systems.
• Translate business goals and technical requirements into modular, scalable, and maintainable solutions.
• Establish and maintain architectural principles, standards, and patterns across all projects.
• Perform architecture reviews, risk assessments, and technology evaluations.
• Partner with engineering leads, product managers, and executives to set long‑term technical strategy and roadmap.
• Design distributed, event‑driven, microservices‑based architectures for high‑traffic applications.
• Define API standards, data‑flow models, integration patterns, and communication protocols.
• Guide teams in building resilient, observable, and secure systems.
• Design infrastructure blueprints including load balancing, caching, message queues, and data pipelines.
• Mentor engineers, review designs and code, and lead technical design reviews and POCs.
• Enforce secure‑by‑design principles, oversee data privacy, encryption, and access‑control models.

Required profile

• 13+ years of professional experience in software engineering.
• Proven experience leading architectural initiatives and guiding cross‑functional teams.
• Strong strategic mindset with the ability to align technical direction with business priorities.
• Demonstrated mentorship and leadership skills.
