Sports Data Editor (Remote – Pakistan)

About the role

Simply.TV is looking for a passionate Sports Data Editor based in Pakistan to join its international team. You will help create, maintain, and improve a high‑quality sports metadata database that powers TV guides and streaming platforms worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Research and create detailed data entries for sports events, tournaments, and leagues.
• Identify and add new programs to the database where needed.
• Gather background information on sports events and ensure accuracy.
• Merge duplicate entries and resolve inconsistencies.
• Double‑check work to deliver error‑free data sets on time.

Required profile

• Based in Pakistan.
• Familiarity with major European football leagues (Premier League, La Liga, Bundesliga, Serie A, Ligue 1) is a plus.
• University degree in Sports Management, Journalism, Business, Data‑related field or similar.
• Exceptional written and spoken English.
• Highly structured, detail‑oriented and able to spot errors quickly.
• Comfortable working with data, databases, and online research tools.
• Thrives in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment and enjoys learning new tools.
• Collaborative mindset and passion for metadata and sports.
