Technical Solution Manager (Energy Storage)

About the role

We are looking for a Technical Solution Manager (Energy Storage) to lead technical solution design and support for energy storage projects in Pakistan, covering commercial & industrial, utility‑scale, and grid‑side applications. The role works closely with sales, customers, grid operators and EPCs to deliver competitive, compliant storage solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead solution design for C&I, grid‑side and renewable‑integration storage projects, covering PCS, EMS, BMS and substation systems.
• Conduct site surveys, grid‑connection assessments and technical risk evaluations such as weak grid conditions and short‑circuit capacity.
• Perform system sizing, equipment selection, electrical topology design and simulation analysis for peak shaving, frequency regulation and black‑start applications.
• Prepare technical proposals, deviation tables and bidding documents; support negotiations and clarifications with customers and grid operators.
• Collaborate with product, R&D, supply‑chain and engineering teams to ensure feasible, cost‑effective solutions and support project handover to execution teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Power Systems, Electrical Engineering, High Voltage Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the energy storage industry, preferably with C&I or utility‑scale projects.
• Strong knowledge of primary/secondary electrical design, protection systems, grid code compliance and SCADA/communication protocols.

Required skills

• Power Systems and Electrical Engineering fundamentals.
• Energy Storage System design, including PCS, EMS, BMS and substation equipment.
• Primary and secondary electrical design, protection coordination and grid compliance.
• SCADA and communication protocol expertise.
• Simulation tools such as PSCAD or ETAP (preferred).
• Technical writing and ability to represent the company in technical reviews.
