Accountant – AI Training Content Specialist

About the role

This is an hourly, remote contractor position where you will act as an Accounting Subject Matter Expert. You will review AI‑generated accounting responses, create high‑quality accounting content, and provide detailed feedback to improve AI performance.

Key responsibilities

• Create detailed prompts and gold‑standard accounting outputs such as journal entries, reconciliations logic, and scenario analyses.
• Evaluate, rank, and annotate AI responses for correctness, clarity, GAAP/IFRS compliance and overall reasoning quality.
• Test AI outputs for inaccuracies, unsafe assumptions, bias and validate reliability across business scenarios.
• Provide clear written explanations and model solutions that demonstrate proper accounting methods.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance or related field; CPA/ACCA/CMA is a strong plus.
• 5+ years of professional accounting experience (public accounting, industry, shared services or advisory).
• Strong knowledge of revenue/expense recognition, accruals, prepaid/deferred items, fixed assets, inventory basics, payroll basics and tax awareness.
• Proven ability to prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations and month‑end close deliverables with auditability.
• Solid understanding of financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) and internal controls concepts.
• Minimum C1 English proficiency with excellent written communication skills.
