Architectural Draftsman – Design & Construction

About the role

The Architectural Draftsman will translate design concepts into precise technical drawings that guide construction. Working closely with senior architects and multidisciplinary teams, you will ensure that every detail meets project specifications and local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare architectural drawings, plans, sections, elevations, and detailed construction layouts using AutoCAD, Revit, or related software.
• Convert conceptual sketches and design briefs into technical drawings and 3D visualisations.
• Coordinate with civil, MEP, and structural teams to maintain design consistency and compliance.
• Maintain drawing documentation, revision records, and drawing registers.
• Assist in Bill of Quantities (BOQ) preparation and verify on‑site measurements when required.
• Ensure all drawings comply with building codes, local regulations, and company standards.
• Support architects in design presentations, site inspections, and client submissions.
• Archive approved drawings systematically for reference and audit purposes.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Drafting, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in architectural drafting, preferably on real‑estate or housing projects.
• Strong understanding of construction drawings, materials, and detailing.
• Excellent coordination and communication skills with technical teams.
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to meet deadlines.
