Assistant Manager, Accounts Payable (A/P)

About the role

The Assistant Manager, Accounts Payable will lead the end‑to‑end A/P function, ensuring accurate invoice processing and timely vendor payments. This role works closely with internal teams and external vendors to maintain financial integrity and support the company’s financial closing cycles.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full Accounts Payable cycle, including invoice verification, posting, and payment processing in the Oracle system.
• Maintain vendor master data, perform reconciliations, and resolve discrepancies with vendors and internal departments.
• Monitor AP aging reports to guarantee timely settlement of liabilities and uphold accurate financial records.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and tax regulations, including withholding tax.
• Support internal and external audits by supplying required reports, reconciliations, and documentation.
• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing by preparing payable reports, aging analysis, and liability summaries.
• Contribute to process improvements that enhance efficiency and control within the AP function.

Required profile

• ACCA qualification (mandatory).
• 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in Accounts Payable.

Required skills

• Oracle (ERP system) for financial transaction processing.
