Senior Accountant – Finance & Reporting

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to lead our finance reporting function. The role involves managing the full accounting cycle, ensuring compliance, and providing insightful financial analysis to senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes to deliver timely and accurate financial statements.
• Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, ensuring precise recording of all transactions, assets, liabilities, and equity.
• Prepare detailed financial reports, variance analyses, and performance metrics for senior management and board reviews.
• Direct the preparation, review, and monitoring of the annual budget.
• Ensure tax and regulatory compliance and maintain transparent records.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external auditors.
• Oversee financial systems, processes, and technologies to enhance efficiency and scalability.
• Undertake additional executive responsibilities as assigned by the CEO or Board.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting or finance.
• M.Com or B.Com degree.
• Strong communication and reporting abilities.
• Effective time‑management skills and a collaborative team player.
