Assistant Manager Compliance Governance & Policy

About the role

We are looking for a proactive and detail‑oriented Assistant Manager to strengthen our bank’s compliance governance framework. You will support policy formulation and the implementation of compliance risk management practices aligned with State Bank of Pakistan regulations for the micro‑finance sector.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, update and maintain Compliance and AML/CFT policies, SOP manuals and governance frameworks.
• Monitor regulatory developments and incorporate SBP requirements into internal policies and procedures in a timely manner.
• Support the implementation and maintenance of the Compliance Risk Management Framework and overall Compliance Program.
• Prepare compliance MIS reports, presentations, governance dashboards and Board/Management Committee reporting packs.
• Coordinate with relevant departments on policy reviews, regulatory implementation and compliance‑related matters.
• Manage policy review calendar, compliance MIS, governance records and action trackers.
• Assist in Compliance Risk Assessments, Internal Risk Assessments and regulatory gap‑analysis exercises.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Commerce, Law or a related discipline.
• 3‑5 years of experience in regulatory compliance, AML/CFT, governance or policy formulation within the financial sector.
• Strong drafting, analytical, presentation and communication abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
