Biomedical Equipment Technician – Field Service

About the role

Recruit AI is seeking a dedicated Biomedical Equipment Technician to join its Field Service & Maintenance team in Lahore. The role involves hands‑on installation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, calibration and repair of a wide range of medical devices, ensuring safety, performance and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and routine servicing of biomedical and healthcare equipment.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose faults in medical devices, executing mechanical and electronic repairs.
• Carry out component replacements, calibration procedures and performance verification tests.
• Conduct safety and accuracy testing to meet healthcare regulations.
• Provide on‑site technical support during field service visits and assist with equipment installation and user orientation.
• Prepare detailed service reports, maintain maintenance records and document equipment performance.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve technical issues and improve service delivery.

Required profile

• Relevant diploma or degree in biomedical engineering or a related technical field.
• Up to two years of experience in biomedical equipment maintenance or a similar technical role.
• Ability to work independently in field environments and manage multiple service requests.
• Strong attention to detail, commitment to quality and safety, and willingness to travel extensively.
