Business Development Intern

About the role

HawksTech is a software development company that builds digital solutions using technologies such as Ruby on Rails, Elixir, React and Phoenix LiveView. It is looking for a Business Development Intern for an on-site internship in Lahore. The intern supports the business development team by identifying potential clients, researching target markets and helping maintain lead databases and sales pipelines.

Key responsibilities

• Identify potential clients and research target markets
• Maintain lead databases and sales pipelines
• Assist with outreach campaigns
• Prepare presentations and proposals
• Coordinate meetings or demos with prospects
• Contribute to competitor analysis and gather client feedback
• Collaborate with marketing and technical teams to refine service offerings and messaging

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a program in Business, Marketing, Management or a related field
• Strong interest in business development, sales and technology services
• Ability to understand and communicate HawksTech's software offerings
• Comfortable working on-site in Lahore, managing time well and working in a team
• Prior internship experience is a plus but not required

Required skills

• Proficiency in research, data collection and basic analysis
• Clear written and verbal communication
• Use of productivity and CRM tools such as spreadsheets, presentation software or sales tracking platforms
