Call Center / Customer Service Agent – French Language Support

About the role

We are seeking a customer‑focused Call Center / Customer Service Agent to provide French‑language support on behalf of our client. The successful candidate will handle both inbound and outbound interactions, resolve queries, and ensure a high‑quality experience for French‑speaking customers.

Key responsibilities

• Answer inbound and make outbound calls to French‑speaking customers in a professional manner.
• Address inquiries about products, services, orders, billing, and account issues.
• Document interactions accurately and update the CRM/ticketing system.
• Resolve complaints, escalating complex cases to the appropriate team.
• Achieve performance targets such as AHT, CSAT, FCR, and quality scores.
• Follow scripts, SOPs, and compliance guidelines.
• Provide up‑to‑date information on promotions, policies, and product features.
• Collaborate with team leads and QA to drive service improvements while maintaining confidentiality.

Required profile

• Fluent in French (native or near‑native) with strong written and verbal skills.
• Good command of English for internal communication.
• Prior experience in a call centre, BPO, or customer service environment is preferred.
• Excellent communication, active listening, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, target‑driven setting.
• Basic computer literacy and ability to navigate CRM/ticketing tools.
• Flexibility to work rotational or flexible shifts.
• High school diploma required; a bachelor’s degree is a plus.
