About the role
Murkez Technologies is seeking a Cash Officer to support cash management for a US‑based client. The role focuses on day‑to‑day cash operations, including tracking, reconciling, and reporting cash across multiple store locations.
Key responsibilities
- Manage daily cash activities across stores and reconcile cash deposits with bank statements each day.
- Prepare and distribute daily cash position reports for all locations.
- Track cash‑flow trends, flag unusual variances, and assist in simple cash forecasts.
- Create easy‑to‑read cash dashboards and variance reports for management.
- Identify and implement process improvements to reduce cash handling errors and losses.
- Support the transition from Smart Safe to Cash‑in‑Transit (CIT) services.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in cash management or treasury functions.
- Strong numerical aptitude, attention to detail, and problem‑solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to handle multiple stores and tasks simultaneously.
