Contract Review Expert (Remote, Hourly Contractor)

About the role

We are seeking a Contract Review Subject Matter Expert to work on an hourly, remote contractor basis. You will evaluate AI‑generated contract analyses and drafting outputs, provide detailed feedback, and help create high‑quality training data for advanced language models.

Key responsibilities

• Develop AI training content by creating detailed prompts and gold‑standard contract outputs such as issue lists, redlines, negotiation notes, and clause rewrites.
• Optimize AI performance by evaluating, ranking, and refining AI responses for correctness, clarity, and practical negotiation usefulness.
• Ensure model integrity by testing outputs for inaccuracies, misleading certainty, confidentiality risks, and bias across a variety of contract scenarios.

Required profile

• JD/LLB (or equivalent) or Paralegal/Contracts professional background with substantial contract review experience.
• 5+ years of professional experience in contracts (in‑house legal, law firm, procurement, vendor management, legal ops, or contracts management).
• Proven ability to identify and explain contract risks such as liability caps, indemnities, warranties, termination rights, IP ownership, and privacy/security clauses.
• Experience reviewing and redlining commercial agreements including MSAs, SOWs, NDAs, DPAs, SaaS/subscription agreements, and vendor contracts.
• Strong attention to detail, C1‑level English proficiency, and ability to produce clear guidance for non‑legal audiences.
• Self‑directed, reliable, and comfortable delivering consistent quality in a remote, hourly workflow.
