DevOps Engineer (SRE-focused)

About the role

We are looking for a mid‑level DevOps Engineer with a strong focus on Site Reliability Engineering to own and operate the core infrastructure that powers Qureos’ AI‑driven hiring platform.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform, including container orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub and Cloud Run to deliver code safely and quickly.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting with Elasticsearch, Kibana, Prometheus, and New Relic.
• Define and own SLOs/SLIs and error budgets for critical services.
• Lead incident response, act as incident commander, and run blameless post‑mortems.
• Administer and optimise MongoDB, handling backup and disaster‑recovery processes.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and reduce toil through Python/Bash scripting and IaC tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
• Participate in on‑call rotation and collaborate with development, QA, and engineering teams on production issues.

Required profile

• Mid‑level DevOps/SRE experience with end‑to‑end production ownership.
• Hands‑on experience with GCP services (Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Cloud Run, GKE), Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Comfortable administering and optimising MongoDB.
• Strong debugging methodology based on observation, hypothesis, and data‑driven verification.
• Working knowledge of IaC (Terraform, Ansible) and CI/CD tooling (GitHub, Cloud Run).
