Electrical & Computer Engineering Lab Engineer

About the role

Riphah International University is seeking a dedicated Electrical and Computer Engineering Lab Engineer to support its academic and research programmes. The role focuses on the operation, calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment used in electrical, electronic and embedded‑systems courses.

Key responsibilities

• Operate, maintain and calibrate electrical and electronic test equipment to ensure accurate measurements.
• Set up laboratory experiments and embedded‑systems projects for coursework and research.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware issues in laboratory instruments and embedded platforms.
• Manage inventory and procurement of laboratory tools and testing equipment.
• Collaborate with faculty to design experiments that meet curriculum and research requirements.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and document maintenance, calibration and experiment records.
• Provide technical support and guidance to students and researchers using the lab facilities.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical, Electronic or Computer Engineering from an HEC‑recognised institute.
• Valid PEC registration.
• Strong hands‑on experience with electrical and electronic equipment.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently in a laboratory environment.
