Assistant Professor – Cyber Security

About the role

Riphah International University seeks a dedicated Assistant Professor to join its Institute of Systems Engineering. The position focuses on delivering high‑quality teaching and advancing research in cyber security, with an emphasis on risk assessment and mitigation.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deliver, and continuously update undergraduate and graduate courses on cyber security principles, risk assessment, and mitigation techniques.
• Develop course materials, labs, and assessment tools that reflect current industry trends and emerging threats.
• Conduct independent and collaborative research, aiming for at least three publications in HEC‑recognized journals.
• Present research findings at academic conferences and workshops.
• Mentor and guide students on projects, dissertations, and practical assignments.
• Participate in departmental committees and contribute to curriculum development.

Required profile

• Ph.D. in Cyber Security or a closely related discipline from an HEC‑recognized university.
• Minimum three years of professional experience in cyber security research or practice.
• Strong commitment to academic excellence and scholarly output.
