Executive Cloud Operations

About the role

PTCL is seeking an Executive Cloud Operations professional to lead the 24/7 administration, management and delivery of its public cloud services across Pakistan. The role ensures the availability, performance and security of IaaS, PaaS, BaaS, DRaaS and SaaS offerings while supporting corporate customers, business partners and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Provide instant 24/7 support and service for PTCL’s public cloud portfolio (IaaS, PaaS, BaaS, DRaaS, SaaS).
• Administer, design, deploy and migrate cloud computing systems and manage storage, backup and network elements.
• Oversee day‑to‑day operations of the nationwide public cloud infrastructure, ensuring SLA compliance.
• Lead process improvements, internal and external audit facilitation, and ISO certification compliance.
• Collaborate with technology teams, corporate customers, business partners and OEMs for seamless service delivery.
• Prepare and share regular KPI reports on capacity, performance, availability and security conformance.
• Support pre‑sales activities, RFP responses and technical queries for business and digital services teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field from a recognized university.
• Mandatory certification in VMware‑based public and private cloud stack.
• Preferred certification: ISC² CCSP – Certified Cloud Security Professional.
• Additional certifications such as Red Hat Enterprise Linux are a plus.
