Financial Controller

About the role

Zameen.com is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to lead all financial operations for its construction projects. The role focuses on establishing strong financial controls, strategic planning, and ensuring compliance with local regulations while supporting the company’s growth objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting for construction projects.
• Prepare accurate and timely financial reports in line with local regulatory requirements.
• Monitor cash flows, project profitability, and overall financial performance.
• Conduct variance analysis, cost control, and provide strategic financial insights to senior management.
• Present financial reports to senior management and key stakeholders.
• Establish and monitor project budgets, ensuring cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with project managers to track expenses, forecasts, and resource allocation.
• Ensure compliance with taxation, regulatory, and financial reporting standards.
• Identify financial risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Liaise with auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities.
• Manage working capital, accounts payable, receivable, and treasury functions.
• Develop and enforce financial policies, internal process improvements, and internal controls.

Required profile

• Professional qualification such as CA, ACCA, CFA, or MBA (Finance) or equivalent.
• 12+ years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years in a managerial position.
• Demonstrated experience in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and cash‑flow management.
• Strong knowledge of local financial regulations and taxation.
• Location: Lahore.
