Forward Deployed Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) who bridges engineering, AI, product, and enterprise customers. You will work directly with customers to translate complex business challenges into AI‑powered solutions, prototype rapidly, and deliver production‑grade applications.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with enterprise customers to gather technical and business requirements.
• Design, build, test, and deploy production‑grade AI applications and integrations.
• Create prototypes and proof‑of‑concepts to validate ideas quickly.
• Integrate large language models (LLMs), AI agents, APIs, databases, and enterprise systems such as CRM, ERP, DevOps, cloud, and collaboration tools.
• Deploy solutions in customer environments, monitor performance, and troubleshoot production issues.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to turn recurring customer needs into core product features.
• Develop reusable frameworks, integrations, and accelerators to speed future deployments.
• Participate in workshops, demos, architecture discussions, and solution design sessions.

Required profile

• 3–7+ years of professional experience in software engineering, solutions engineering, or a similar technical role.
• Hands‑on experience delivering production applications and working directly with enterprise stakeholders.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and comfort with ambiguous requirements.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for both technical and business audiences.

Required skills

• Programming languages: Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, Go.
• Experience with APIs, RESTful services, and micro‑service architectures.
• Knowledge of databases (SQL/NoSQL) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Familiarity with LLM APIs, Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG), vector databases, AI agents, and AI orchestration frameworks.
• Understanding of software architecture, authentication, security, and distributed systems.
