HND Lecturer in Curriculum Development and Teaching

About the role

The university seeks a dedicated HND Lecturer to design, deliver and continuously improve curriculum for the Higher National Diploma programme. You will work within a collaborative academic environment, using curriculum mapping and learning management systems to enhance student learning.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, plan and deliver lessons that align with the HND curriculum and academic standards.
• Design and update curriculum content, applying curriculum mapping to ensure clear learning outcomes and progression.
• Utilise learning management systems to create engaging, accessible educational materials.
• Monitor student performance, provide constructive feedback and maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments and grades.
• Meet annual teaching targets and workload requirements set by the Head of Department.
• Participate in departmental meetings, academic planning and quality‑assurance processes.
• Offer academic counselling and guidance to support student success.
• Collaborate with colleagues across departments to foster interdisciplinary learning opportunities.
