About the role

Riphah International University seeks an experienced Assistant Professor specializing in Artificial Intelligence to join its faculty in Islamabad. The role combines high‑quality teaching with research focused on AI‑driven innovation, ethical AI practices, and the development of AI applications.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver lectures and tutorials covering machine learning, deep learning, reinforcement learning, natural language processing, and computer vision.
• Develop and continuously update course materials to reflect the latest AI and software engineering advancements.
• Conduct cutting‑edge research on ethical and responsible AI, publish findings, and present at conferences.
• Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate projects, theses, and research activities.
• Collaborate with academic peers and industry partners to foster a vibrant research environment.
• Participate in the design, development, and deployment of AI‑driven applications within research projects or curriculum activities.
• Contribute to departmental committees, curriculum development, and university initiatives.

Required profile

• PhD in Artificial Intelligence or a closely related field from a HEC‑recognized institute.
• Strong academic record and a commitment to teaching excellence.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct independent research and secure publications.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
